The Summit is a multipurpose building, utilizing its massive space to house retail shops, a dining center, and residential areas rented out to students (possibly outsiders as well?). There are various spaces to take into account when considering a building like this, especially when calculating different loads on different parts of the building.

The southeast side of the lower level features various dining options. The restaurants, their kitchens, and the hallways leading through each of them have been grouped together as a single category. The west side has a single story parking garage with 88 spaces. There is also a loading dock just near the entrance of the parking garage that was grouped with the garage in it's space. The northeast side features various elevators and stairs, maintenance rooms and storage rooms, all grouped into a service category.

The north side of the first floor features a strip of retail shops that run the length of the building. The southwest to middle of the first floor contains a sundeck and many bike racks for the residents to utilize. The southeast side houses leasing offices, study rooms, theater, and lounges for the residents. On the south side of the building between the sundeck and the offices is the loading dock from the lower level.

The mezzanine features a fitness room overlooking the sundeck in the middle of the building. The mechanical room lies to the southwest side of the building.

The 2nd floor up to the 24th floor features various shaped and sized apartments for the residents living in the building. There are elevators running from the lower level all the way up to the 24th floor in the middle of the building. The mechanical penthouse has an electrical room, cooling tower and storage room above the 24th floor. This is an entire service floor, meant for staff only. All of the plans showing the space allocations below are alterations of the given files from BBlearn.
